Friday Photo: Twelfth Edition

Happy Friday once again, dear readers.

One of my very favorite people in all of Planet Earth has been crashing on my couch since Wednesday and she'll be here through the weekend. We've eaten our way through Manhattan. Literally. Think: lemonade + cream, vanilla bean + blackberry jam donuts, beer + pretzel caramels, risotto balls and extensive cheese plates. 

And now we're ready to relax. For the next few evenings we'll be bellying up to the Hudson River, counting the sailboats fluttering through the harbor, debating what our life will look like in five years and reading girlie magazines.
