Friday Photo: Seventh Edition

It's Friday. Happy face!

It's funny, every week Friday comes. And yet every week it feels like it never will. Anyway...

I'm looking forward to cuing up some time this weekend with my husband, who has been out of town this week for work. We've got a quick day trip to Philadelphia planned for a family reunion and also a couple apartments to scope out, but other than that I hope we can squeeze away for a bit to get lost in our favorite bookstore, sip on French-pressed coffee and flirt.

A few chores today and church on Sunday. Otherwise, just being lazy, getting ready for a busy week. When one is retired, weekends can be almost any day.

On that note, chatting with other retired friends, I am finding that summers, when school is out, are when retirees lay low, saving their money, making plans, resting up for the rest of the year when they go, go, go, allowing families more space for their travels.
