Friday Photo: Twenty First Edition

Well, darling readers, I'm hopping on a plane today and am off to Istanbul, Turkey for a little work trip. My stomach is in ropes. I'm so excited to marvel at a new place that I have been told is where the east meets the west, but am also a little nervous as this is my first international trip that I will be making alone {although I am meeting a friend later in the trip}. Have any of you been to Istanbul before? Any tips?

Have an adventurous weekend!

+ A pretty honey jar just in time for cold season!

+ Note to self: get a locket.

+ Wowza.

+ Isn't this video about NYC fantastic?

+ Vintage Vogue

+ The one thing I did today: order these

+ These make my face sing.

+ A pretty song

P.S. I am saluting all of the veterans today who make it possible for me to have these freedoms. I value you.

How wonderful! I went to Istanbul for my honeymoon a few years ago. It's such an amazing city. I would suggest Istiklal Street, the Blue Mosque and the underground cistern. Apart from being beautiful, I was surprised at how lively, young and hip the city is. Enjoy!
